Jacques
Villeneuve is Regional Manager, North-West and Cooperatives.
In addition to directing a team of investment managers for
the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Mauricie regional markets,
he coordinates business development for the team responsible
for cooperatives throughout Québec. Jacques joined Desjardins
Venture Capital in August 2007.
With
over 33 years' experience in the financial services sector,
Jacques began his career with a major Canadian financial
institution, where he held various business affairs management
positions. In 2000, he joined Desjardins Group to assume
strategic positions in consulting and business development
services, especially for the corporate market. Before joining
Desjardins Venture Capital, Jacques was manager of a Desjardins
Business Centre.
Jacques
has always been very active in his community, notably as
a member of numerous boards of directors and of various
business organizations. With a diploma in general administration,
he has also managed a small business enterprise.

Andrée
Bélanger has been Investment Manager with Desjardins
Venture Capital at the Québec City - Chaudière-Appalaches
Office since January 2005.
For almost
18 years she has worked closely with SMEs in Québec,
first as auditor and assurance manager with KPMG Québec,
KPMG Paris and Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche
Sept-Iles, then as senior advisor-investments with
the QFL Regional Solidarity Fund Côte-Nord, managing
director of the QFL Regional Solidarity Fund Chaudière-Appalaches
and portfolio manager with Innovatech Régions ressources.
With wide-ranging
experience in the development capital field, Andrée
has worked as a business partner on various large-scale
projects, mainly in the manufacturing and service
sectors. She has also contributed to the growth and
development of numerous companies through active roles
in management committees and boards of directors.
Andrée is
a chartered accountant, and a member of the Ordre
des comptables agréés du Québec since 1989. |

Yvon Létourneau
joined Desjardins Venture Capital in December 2005 as Investment
Manager - Cooperatives.
He has worked
in the cooperative sector for 20 years, holding advisory
services positions with the Coopérative de développement
régional, Québec-Appalaches.
Yvon is President
of Caisse populaire Desjardins de la Rivière-du-Sud and
Chairman of the Management Committee of the Desjardins Business
Centre - Côte-du-Sud.
He holds a degree
in administrative techniques (finance option) and has taken
various courses in finance, management and IT. Yvon is a
member of the Association des professionnels en développement
économique du Québec.
